Strengthin style.jpgToni & Guy is to launch Strength in Style, a new partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support that will see the chain become a pivotal partner in Macmillan's work to improve the lives of everyone affected by cancer in the UK.

Macmillan and Toni & Guy will develop a training programme to ensure people affected by cancer will have access to a salon in their area where a trained professional will be able to provide specialist support and advice on hair care.

Commented Toni Mascolo: "With over two million people living with cancer in the UK, Toni & Guy has the opportunity to have a huge impact on people's lives.  Providing expert care for someone undergoing cancer treatment is something the entire company is passionate to support.'

The training course is due to launch nationwide by March 2010 and will cover everything a stylist needs to know about speaking to people affected by cancer, the effects of treatment on hair and wig styling and cutting.
