Tom Chapman has been announced as global barber director of Keune,
HJ Men can exclusively reveal. The Lions Barber Collective founder will be managing the barbering and men's hairdressing education for the brand in 80 countries.
Speaking of the appointment Tom says: "It's such a privilege to be
Keune's first global barber director. I'm so excited to be working for a family-run company that is always developing and looking forward."
Tom has spent the past year and a half launching the
J.M Keune 1922 range, appearing everywhere from Russia to the USA, alongside fellow Keune global ambassador James Beaumont. "I was approached at the end of 2018 with the position of global barber director after my role as global ambassador. I could not be prouder of my new role," Tom explains.
In his new role, Tom will be creating a men's education curriculum. "It will be a three tier programme, starting with fundamentals. I want to make men's hairdressing simple and accessible for all – as well as providing the perfect foundation for Keune's high quality styling products to sit on top of. I want to create an education programme and showcase styling techniques that ensures barbers and men's hairdressers are making their clients happy and coming back for more."
Developing new products, creating collections and shooting campaigns will all be part of Tom's new role. We can't wait to see the results of the partnership.
