Timeless glamour from tim hartley

As the mellow tones of vintage jazz filled the theatre, Salon International regular Tim Hartley proved yesterday just why his work is emulated and admired the world over.Unveiling his brand new Fierce Child collection, Tim's enthusiasm was infectious and, needless to say, his work was incredible.

Drawing inspiration from art and vintage photography, he created a wealth of classic looks, each with a graphic, modern twist, from softly side-swept styles with backcombed accents to bright blue bobs and vivid red curls. .The show centred around a return to classic technique, with precision cutting and artfully placed colour.The audience loved it - the stage was stormed afterwards as a cheering crowd leapt forward to capture the models on camera - but Tim's smile was the biggest of all.
