Tigi bed head hair space pops up in shoreditch

The TIGI Bed Head Hair Space has popped up at Box Park in Shoreditch, the East London shopping mall housed in a series of shipping containers. Its official grand opening party, hosted in association with Vice magazine, saw the salon open its doors to the hipsters and urbanites of East London on a particularly hot and steamy July night. Housed in two neighbouring shipping containers, the space features a dedicated retail area and five styling stations, offering cutting and colouring to the creative types who live and work in the area. Live cameras streamed styling from the salon to the bar, ensuring great hair was well and truly at the heart of the evening. [hji-gallery-legacy] Anthony Mascolo welcomed guests on the night, including hair icon Robert Lobetta and a host of Shoreditch's finest street-style stars and bloggers, before taking to the stage to praise Bed Head Hair Space Director, Gen Itoh, and his team for their passion for this new project. "We’re really excited with the launch of this new concept," said Anthony. "Bed Head Hair Space has given us the opportunity to not only cut and style hair, but run events, create some buzz with music and art and look at our work from a whole new perspective. It’s a great opportunity to invite hairdressers to see what we’re doing, try out new products and generally share the experience." After some dry-styling, guests drank Bed Head Cocktails on the upper deck of #Boxpark with DJ sets and live music to keep the beat as up-tempo as the temperature.
