Three's a trend: the beanie hat

The beanie trend may have been deemed old hat by some, but the dwellers of Somerset House thought otherwise this season. Whilst some donned their flowery headgear in preparation for spring, it was clear the majority of the fashion-conscious lot were still embracing the winter months and keeping their caps cosy with this season's most coveted hair accessory: The Beanie Hat.

Jasper Conran confirmed neon as a big trend next season, but we're already seeing it on the high street in the form of the neon beanie. Somerset House was a sea of brightly coloured beanies in florescent orange, yellow, and pink, as seen here by Swedish Pernilla, who picked her beanie up on eBay.

Photographer Kate looked effortlessly cool with her undone hair, oversized Primark beanie, and leather sleeved jacket. Kate also admits to indulging in some serious hair treatment after bleaching her hair: "Moroccanoil Restorative Hair Mask is perfect for strengthening my hair after it's been weakened by bleach".

Charlotte from Wales teamed her Primark beanie with her leather jacket to create a grungey look. She also personalised her beanie by studding it herself. To create her perfect curls she used the popular Encode Totem Styler from Enrapture.
