These trends were all over our stage at hj live north 2019!

HJ Live North 2019 may be over but the amazing looks we saw on stage will stay bang on trend for a while yet. We were so lucky to have awesome hairdressing teams on stage on Sunday and Monday bringing their inspiring techniques to the crowds of Manchester EventCity. Here are just some of the trends we noticed over the two day event. (P.S get these dates in your diary– 18-19 October 2020 HJ Live returns to Manchester!)

Big hair, don't care

Big textured looks took over the stage across both days. Whether the artists were working with wefts and clip-ins or their models' natural texture the big brushed out texture proved that this season we shouldn't be shying away from the fluff. Ponies please!

Hair ups are the classic party style so it's no surprise that they were such a popular look on stage at our shows this autumn. Oh be wave!

The beachy waves trend might be in decline but that's great news for clients experimenting with other textures and styles. We saw a plethora of soft curls and waves on the stage from dressed and glossy to naturally teased out – we know your clients will be requesting these looks way into SS20.
