After shaking up the formula for Trendvision Award 2019, Wella Professionals have announced who came through as winners at each of their Regional Heats which took place at the newly formatted #WellaCreativeRemix.
Prior to the announcements of winners each evening included a model showcase, catwalk shows from HOB Academy Art Team, D&J Ambrose Art Team and local artists: DNA Art Space, KH Hair, Medusa, P.Kai Hair. Each #WellaCreativeRemix event featured a live DJ set, creative demonstration zones, competitor gallery and newly-announced
British Hairdresser of the Year nominee Robert Eaton’s wig installation.

A beautiful tribute was also paid to
Sean Nolan from HOB Salons, who had been an integral part of the #WellaCreativeRemix tour, creating looks that were shown on stage, and passed away suddenly whilst on the tour. “Sean was incredibly talented and loved being part of TrendVision. We have lost someone very special and we shall all miss him terribly,” said Akin Konizi HOB Salons co-director.
Regional winners will now go through to the UK & Ireland final. The winners of the two international categories (Color Artist of the Year and Creative Artist of the Year) will then go on to the International TrendVision Award Creative Retreat, which takes place in Seville, Spain, in 2020.
In addition, the gold winners of the Male Grooming and Runway categories will be in with a chance of also joining the Creative Retreat, with ten winners chosen globally to attend.
