The Topiary Salon, based in the picturesque village of Old Basing, Hampshire, celebrated an impressive milestone of 20 years of trading in 2024. To mark this incredible achievement, owner Laura Haystaff closed the salon for a weekend and treated her six team members to an unforgettable three-night escape to Marrakech.

Reflecting on the celebration, Laura shared: “I wanted to show my love and appreciation for my team and celebrate what we’ve achieved together. The company has grown rapidly, especially over the last seven years. Employed salons are such a special part of our industry, and I want to highlight how incredible being part of a collective can be. I truly believe the employed salon is making a comeback.”
Since opening its doors in 2004, when Laura was just 22, The Topiary Salon has built a reputation for excellence. A proud Kevin Murphy Session Salon and Bronze Environ Salon, it boasts a 14-seater hair salon, a licensed on-site aesthetics clinic, and a three-room beauty retreat – all within a beautifully designed, Instagram-worthy space.
With two decades of success behind them, Laura and her team are excited for many more years of growth, unforgettable memories, and well-deserved celebrations.
