Did you see the stars on the Oscars red carpet on Sunday night? We are doing a review next week of the good, the bad and the ugly and looking through images of Hollywood starlets, it was great to see old fashioned glamour back where it belongs.Glamour should mean beautiful, feminine, movement and something that the rest of us would only dream of wearing. Whether it is a designer vintage dress that sweeps the floor, or a stunning updo, the celebrities should inspire all of us to try something new. I loved Naomi Watts' Marcel Wave-inspired style and Madonna's soft curls that framed her face. These sort of looks should get clients excited about hair and with the vast array of products and stying tools available today, there is no reason why you can't offer them Oscar-style hair in the salon. There's nothing better than going to an event -- whether it is a party, work event or wedding -- with a style that makes you feel like a million dollars.
