The journey begins for the 2016 f.a.m.e team

Monday 4th January saw the newly crowned F.A.M.E Team 2016 come together for the first of many inspiring days to develop their skills, confidence and expertise. Jamie Benny, Melissa Timperley, Rosie Binns and Zoe Williams joined Project Leader Antony Licata at ghd Studios in Soho. They were welcomed by Photographer Jack Eames, Stylist Bernard Connolly and Session Stylist Tina Farey, to assist the team in preparation for their upcoming photoshoot. Jamie, Melissa, Rosie and Zoe had created beautiful mood boards which were developed with the guidance of these industry experts. Then it was onto Neil Atkinson from Mahogany who gave vital stage presentation tips and tricks which will really benefit the team in their future career.

F.A.M.E team member Melissa Timperley from Sassoon said: “Today, we met with Neil Atkinson from Mahogany, and it was fabulous to get his insights into his exciting career journey. It was wonderful to share some of his stage presentation tips and tricks to create an engaging stage presence; for example answering to the audience rather than the compere when being asked a question. I know I have learned a great deal that I will be able to use straight away and feel really energised and confident after the workshop. It was a tremendous kick-start to our F.A.M.E Team year.” The next date for the F.A.M.E. Team 2016 is Monday 11th January, where they will be attending a cutting workshop with Mahogany.
