The Hair Movement Announces Official Partnership with BHBD Hair Extensions

Sidcup-based independent salon The Hair Movement has been announced as an official stockist of Swedish hair extension brand BHBD, further strengthening the salon’s long-standing relationship with ADSN, the distributor behind both Davines and BHBD in the UK.

Alongside the partnership, The Hair Movement’s Georgina Greenslade has been appointed as a Key Educator for BHBD, bringing specialist expertise, advanced technical knowledge and education to both the salon and the wider hairdressing community.

The partnership represents a natural evolution for The Hair Movement, whose philosophy has always centred around thoughtful, high-quality hairdressing that prioritises both the guest experience and the integrity of the hair itself.

For Brand Director Benjamin Shipman, the collaboration reflects something much bigger than simply introducing a new extension service. “We’ve worked closely with ADSN through Davines for many years, so there’s already a huge amount of trust and alignment there in terms of philosophy, education and the way we believe hairdressing should feel,” he explained. “This partnership with BHBD feels like a very natural extension of that relationship.

“At The Hair Movement, we’ve always believed that beautiful hair should feel effortless, authentic and completely personal to the guest. We’re incredibly selective about the brands we bring into the salon because everything has to align with our standards, our culture and the experience we want people to have when they sit in our chair.

“What really stood out to us with BHBD was the quality of the hair and the finish it creates. The extensions look incredibly natural, move beautifully and genuinely feel like an extension of the guest themselves rather than something separate or obvious. When extensions are done properly, they shouldn’t just add length or volume, they should enhance confidence whilst making the hair look and feel even better.

“Having Georgina step into the educator role makes this partnership even more meaningful. She represents everything we value at The Hair Movement – technical precision, creativity, care and a real passion for helping others grow within the industry. We’re proud to be partnering with BHBD, proud to continue building alongside ADSN, and excited about where this journey can go.”

As a Key Educator for BHBD, Georgina will play an important role in supporting and mentoring independent stylists, sharing advanced extension techniques and helping elevate standards within the industry.

Her appointment also reinforces The Hair Movement’s strong culture of education, collaboration and continuous development, with the salon set to become a hub for

BHBD training, mentorship and specialist extension expertise. Through the partnership, guests at The Hair Movement will now have access to BHBD’s premium extension services, designed to create effortlessly natural-looking length, volume and transformation whilst maintaining the health, movement and integrity of beautiful hair.
