One of the industry’s favourite events, the Fellowship Luncheon, took place recently at the Dorchester Hotel on London’s Park Lane. The day was a chance to celebrate those in hairdressing who go above and beyond for the Fellowship and to present this year’s
Fellowship Awards.
For the first time ever the Luncheon and awards were hosted by Fellowship Chancellor Ken Picton, who brought hilarity to the 'do cracking welsh jokes as well as teaching the audience welsh words and phrases. He was joined on stage throughout by President Karine Jackson and Chairman Jo Martin, who Ken affectionately dubbed ‘Ken’s Angel’s’.

Alongside the sumptuous dinner, Fellowship members, sponsors and council members took the time to recognise some industry’s heroes.
This year, the Fellowship awarded Errol Douglas MBE with the Patron of Honour award. Only three other people have ever been bestowed this honour in previous years; Vidal Sassoon, Trevor Sorbie MBE and Ann Herman.
