The Fellowship for British Hairdressing recently hosted a Long Hair Workshop with a panel of guest experts.
Smart salons have been offering an alternative option by providing hair-up and dressing services for clients who don’t want to part with their long locks.
With the
Christmas and party season fast approaching, the Fellowship for British Hairdressing brought long hair centre stage with a Long Hair Workshop. This was hosted by Kerry Mather, Vice-Chairperson, and mentored by a panel of styling experts: Anne Veck, Danilo Giangreco, David Rae and Karoliina Saunders.
The skilled and talented team have experience in hairdressing awards, stage work, session styling, bridal hair and occasion hair, which makes them the perfect panel to provide practical advice and technical support to the guests on this course.
Each student was in charge of selecting their own model and creating a long hairstyle of their choice; with the guest experts near-by to provide guidance, tips and techniques for creating original looks.
The finished looks ranged from retro-inspired waves, elegant chignons, avant-garde updos to textured styles.
