The fellowship for british hairdressing awards
I had a great time at theBritish Hairdressing Awards, I was there all day with a film crew giving peoplea sneak peak backstage and at rehearsals. It was a long day! I arrived at 11am tointerview the nominees. I also got the chance to interview Angelo Seminara onhis fantastic win. I was up for 3 awards but unfortunately didn't take any home.
Filming for Gok's Fashion Fix has started again and itwill be back on the TV in early January. The first two episodes are done andthe format has changed this time around, there are now four makeovers per episode, which meansI did 4 cut and colours on one day and then 12 catwalk models for the next day,but it's such great fun I don't mind at all.
In other news, I spent a day teaching a cutting techniques course for Matrix atan independent salon in Derby, which was fun. I demonstrated on 6 models thenthey all did a model each. I have also spent a few days making sure my clientsare sorted for Christmas!
Lastly, I attended the Fellowship British Hairdressing Awards, which I was reallylooking forward to. I wasn't expecting anything but I was awarded HairAmbassador of the Year, which is such an honour! It was my 30th birthday thenext day so it was a double celebration and I had a great night.
Hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas!
