The epic hair moments at central saint martins' lightshow 2021

L’Oréal Professionnel teamed up with Central Saint Martins for its iconic White Show catwalk, which showcased some pretty incredible hair moments.
LIGHTSHOW Central Saint Martins
The White Show is an annual showcase in December where each first-year fashion design student at Central Saint Martins creates a single look in white fabric.
It is one of the most anticipated events of the first term at the prestigious design school, it is one of the longest running projects on BA Fashion at the college. The show is conceived, organised and promoted by first year students on BA Fashion Journalism & Communication.
L’Oréal Professionnel have a twenty-year partnership with Central Saint Martins and invited hairstylist Jason Hall to create the hair looks. Jason lead the L’Oréal Professionnel ID Artists hair-team to style the hair for all 140 students who each modelled one look. The ID Artists take part in a two-year education and development program for talented hairstylists.
This year the theme was the LIGHTSHOW and the inspiration for the hair was space-age, with influences from the movie, Dune.
How to Recreate the Look
Lead stylist for L’Oréal Professionnel, Jason Hall shares how to get the look:Spray the hair with water and brush it up into a high ponytail (or low, if they had headdresses). Mix L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.Art Fix Max gel and L’Oréal Professionnel Liss Controlsmoothing cream in a bowl and brush into the swept-up hair for a high sheen and smooth finish. Straighten the lengths and spray with a little L’Oréal Professionnel Ring Light Shine-spray.Below are the team members who took part in creating the beautiful hair for the show.
