More than 950 guests, including some of the biggest names in the industry, arrived at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London, on Monday 10 September, for HJ’s 2007 British Hairdressing Business Awards. The evening celebrated those whose business acumen has helped raise levels of excellence both within their own enterprises and within the industry. The awards, now in its ninth year, recognise staff at all levels of hairdressing, from juniors to business directors, and have become a benchmark for achievement in business. The night was also a fantastic opportunity to network with the current and future stars of the industry, with plenty of time for socialising before the awards ceremony and partying afterwards. Guests chatted over champagne cocktails at the reception, and the buzz continued throughout the four-course meal.
