Empowering Textured Hair Stylists: ‘Coils, Curls & Cashflow’ Event Series Launches in London

Published 15th May 2025 by Josie Jackson

Mane Hook-Up is proud to launch Coils, Curls & Cashflow – a new in-person event series helping textured hair stylists grow powerful, profitable businesses. The first event takes place on June 8, 2025, and features a headline session with celebrity stylist and educator Kaye Dash.

Independent textured hair stylists – often the backbone of Black and multicultural beauty – serve a multi-billion-pound industry, yet remain overlooked by traditional business support systems. This event series is designed to shift that reality.

“Stylists shape culture and community every day – it’s time they received the same level of investment and infrastructure other industries take for granted,” says Jade Buffong-Phillips, founder of Mane Hook-Up.

With practical, no-fluff sessions, the Coils, Curls & Cashflow series aims to help stylists:

  • Raise their income without burning out
  • Market themselves with confidence
  • Clarify pricing, customer service and long-term goals
  • Connect with mentors and like-minded peers

The Coils, Curls & Cashflow Launch Event Includes:

  • A live, unfiltered Q&A with Kaye Dash
  • Networking with stylists and educators
  • Food, drinks and community energy
  • A free business-building resource from Mane Hook-Up

Early bird tickets are sold out, with limited General Admission tickets available at £18.99

Tickets can be purchased here.
