Malcolm Edwards combined braids of different sizes for a look inspired by rich, bohemian girls at Temperley London Autumn/Winter 2014.
The show: Temperley London Autumn/Winter 2014
The hair team: Malcolm Edwards for Moroccanoil
The look: Textured hair with two braids gathered into one long side braid
The inspiration: Cool, rich bohemian girls
The key product: Moroccanoil Volumising Mousse
"The Temperley girl is a cool, rich bohemian," said Malcolm. "A world traveller and carefree spirit, she has a naive approach to her beauty care. The hair is both youthful and playful; simplistic with a little detail of interest."
Get the Look
1. Prep the hair with Moroccanoil Treatment, applying to the mid-lengths and ends then combing through. For finer or lighter-coloured hair, use Moroccanoil Treatment Light.
2. Take a small amount of Volumising Mousse and work through damp hair from roots to tips, combing through to spread evenly.
3. Blow-dry the hair using a barrel brush.
4. Style into a low side parting then take two sections at the back (on either side of the parting) and braid them. Keep the braid tight at the root and getting looser towards the ends.
5. Bring these two braids into the remaining hair and plait it all together to one side of the head.
6. Spray everything with Luminous Hairspray Strong to hold the look and finish with a light mist of Glimmer Shine Spray for extra definition and shine.
