Teen choice awards 2013 - key make-up looks

The Teen Choice Awards took place last night in LA, with America's up-and-coming young stars taking to the red carpet in all their finery. Although the awards will mainly be remembered for Lea Michele's tearful tribute to her late boyfriend, Glee star Cory Monteith, on a more light-hearted note there were some fabulous outfits to be enjoyed and plenty of hair and beauty highlights. Here were some of the key make-up looks we loved.

 EYES THE LIMIT Keeping the lip colour neutral, these stars let their eyes do the talking with dark eye shadows, smudgy liner and heaps of mascara. While Hailee's look is perhaps a bit OTT for a summer red carpet, we love Lily's retro flicks teamed with pale pink shadow. KEEPING IT SIMPLE

Proving that red carpets don't have to be all about full-on drama when it comes to make-up, these stars went for a more fresh-faced feel with gorgeous skin, a touch of eyeliner and subtle pink lip colours.
