Bianca Tuovi created knotted updos inspired by tough women farm workers in the Deep South for the Teatum Jones Autumn/Winter 2014 show.
The show: Teatum Jones Autumn/Winter 2014
The hair team: Bianca Tuovi for Bumble and bumble
The look: A knobbly plaited and knotted ponytail
The inspiration: Deep South farm workers and a hint of Amish influence
The key product: Bumble and bumble Pret a Powder
"She's tough," said Bianca. "A hard woman, weathered from the harsh world she lives in."
Get the look
1. Section the hair from ear to ear and apply Bumble and bumble Sumo Wax throughout.
2. Create a deep side parting to the left side.
3. Apply Pret-a-Powder on the mid-lengths.
4. Pin the hair on the right side, roll hair over right eye and secure the lengths into a ponytail.
5. Plait the tail and fold it to make a short knot, then wrap with elastic.
6. Add Shine On Spray to the roots and Does It All Hairspray all over to secure.
