The United Kingdom were celebrating today after winning gold at the Goldwell Global Zoom competition in Las Vegas.

Natalie Cara Jones picked up the coveted award in the New Talent category, with her beautiful interpretation of the Teaditional Rebels trend.
The award win was the culmination of an exciting weekend of inspiration, glitz and trend reveals at the Cosmopolitan hotel.
The competition - formerly Color Zoom - saw 1800 entries from more than 60 countries in three categories, with the finalists spending four hours recreating their look. And while they worked hard, the international audience were treated to a variety of shows by top hairdressers.
HJs 2014 British Hairdresser of the Year Mark Leeson showcased the new Kerasilk products, with models wearing smooth, frizz-free and feminine styles, as well as revealing the new Reds, which will launch in the US in the coming months.
New for 2016, VP and global creative director John Moroney revealed a brand new Master Stylist programme. To run alongside the current Master Colourist programme, it's designed to look at shapes and textures on all hair types.
Australian hairdresser Benni Tognini presented his latest innovative cutting techniques, before Mark Leeson presented a beautiful show bringing his imagery to life. Models with plaits, twists and texture from his winning British collection walked the runway to the amazement of the international audience.
Before the finalists were announced a spectacular show revealed the new 2016 trend. D!SRUPT looks at hair in aside rent way, and challenges clients and hairdressers to date to be different with their hair.
