There's more to fake than than Tango-tastic shades of orange; at London Fashion Week, St. Tropez worked backstage at Erdem to give skin an ethereal, multi-dimensional finish.
Erdem is one of the biggest shows of London Fashion Week, and this season attracted an A-list crowd including Anna Wintour, Alexa Chung, and even Samantha Cameron.
St Tropez sponsored the show, and were responsible for creating a glowing look on the skin.
"Polished skin is trendy moving forward to Autumn/Winter," said St Tropez spokeswoman Nichola Joss. "This season at Erdem skin is hyper-real and ghostly."
Being Autumn/Winter, the look wasn't about creating an unnatural tan, but rather achieving a polished look and accentuating the model's erogenous zones. Joss used a specially developed silver grey illuminator on the skin, in a shade dubbed 'silver rose'. Mixed with St Tropez Body Butter, skin was left looking luminous and multi-dimensional.
Designer Erdem Moralioglu said: "The collection is about taking things that are perfect and undoing the perfection. Skin is so important to the final look and St. Tropez has given it a wonderful polish."
