Headmasters team taking part in a HAIRraising sponsored cycle

On Sunday 12 June, HAIRraising will be setting off on a one-day sponsored cycle from Buckingham Palace to Cambridge, and they're asking you to join them.

The route starts at Buckingham Palace, then heads out of London and through the Cambridgeshire countryside, before finishing up at the Botanical Gardens in Cambridge. It covers 60 miles, which might sound daunting but don't forget it's for a very good cause and will be well worth boasting about when you complete it!

If you'd like to take part, please register on the HAIRraising website.

Why HAIRraising needs your help

Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of the world's leading children's hospitals and the only specialist paediatric research hospital in the UK, concentrating on the more difficult and complex cases. The children GOSH cares for are referred to them from all over the UK and around the world,  many of them suffering from life-limiting ot life-threatening conditions.

All the money raised from the HAIRraising appeal will go towards the cost of building two new state-of-the-art operating theatres within a new Centre for Neurosciences and will allow the team to treat up to 20 per cent more children who need their specialist care.
