Survey reveals location of uk's biggest spenders

With more than 70% of the UK admitting to being beauty-conscious, a new survey by
TotallyMoney.com compares budgets across the country, with Coventry having the highest spend per capita on their hair.
The survey revealed that people in Coventry had a weakness for frequently getting their hair done, spending £750 per year person on their hair, with an extra £173 on their hair products. Swansea was close behind with a spend of £837 on hair, and Glasgow spending £799 on haircare.
On the other end of the scale, Aberdeen has the least overall spend, with just £388 spend per person on their hair.
The survey also revealed Edinburgh having the most outlets, with 24 salons per 100,00 people, followed by Glasgow (23 per 100,000) and London, with 20 salons per 100,000.
"This isn't just about the total spend, it's interesting to see the breakdown and understand which cities value parts of their appearance the most, " says TotallyMoney.com head of brand and communications, Joe Gardiner.
