Support world aids day urge l'oréal

As part of its ongoing commitment to Hairdressers Against AIDS, the L'Oréal Professional Products Division, is urging hairdressers nationwide to get involved in World AIDS Day on the Monday 1st December.
"It has been so great to see so many hairdressers get behind the cause in the past, and we really appreciate it," says Naomi Scroggins, Communications Director of the L'Oréal Professional Products Division.
"Not only is HIV an issue in Africa - it is right here on our door step in the UK and Ireland.
"Hairdressers have a great capacity to connect with people and if we can raise awareness of HIV around World AIDS Day, we have the capacity to help save lives."
To get involved just log onto www.worldaidsday.org and request a Red Ribbon box to go on display on a salon's reception desk to both raise awareness of HIV and AIDS and to fundraise for this worthwhile cause.
For the third consecutive year, L'Oréal UK will be having a World AIDS Day Charity Day in the International Academy. Technicians from all of the brands will running running columns for L'Oréal staff with all of the proceeds will go to the National AIDS Trust.
In addition, L'Oréal field team members will help to raise awareness by wearing Red Ribbons and there will be a Red Ribbon drive at the Head Office in Hammersmith and other L'Oréal UK sites to raise money.
