Summer loving at goldwell playstrong summer party

More than 800 guests gathered to celebrate the achievements of the winners of this year's Goldwell Color Zoom at the PlayStrong Summer Party.
Guests, including Goldwell customers, press and industry friends, were greeted with sunshine, music, Pimms and the beautiful outdoor surroundings of the Hurlingham Club in London.
After an al fresco barbecue, it was time for the much-anticipated PlayStrong catwalk show, based on the 2011 Color Zoom trend. Models were styled by Goldwell Ambassadors Lisa Whiteman, Beverly C, Mark Leeson, Michael Barnes and Shane Bennett.
Last year's Global Color Zoom winner in the Creative Colorist category, Neil Barton, from Neil Barton Salon in Edinburgh, also created a key look and was interviewed on stage about his experience of winning the competition.
This year's UK Color Zoom winners were announced by Goldwell's head of education, Irene Meikle and head of creative direction William Wilson.
The winners are:
- Partner Colorist Category: Lisa Whiteman, WebsterWhiteman, London
- Creative Colorist Category: Lucy Keadell, Elements, Teddington, Middlesex
- New Talent Colorist Category: Ingrida Azarionok, Lexingtons, Finchley, London
The three UK winners will join Goldwell in Miami this October to compete in the Color Zoom Global Challenge for the chance to become a member of the International Color Zoom Creative Team 2011.
Finalists and guests were treated to a performance by singer and reality TV star Stacey Solomon and a set by mega-DJ Brandon Block, who kept the dance floor packed until the early hours.
