Ready To Wear
"I created super-sized ponytails made from cut strips of couture tweed and silk, and incorporated these into hair pieces to blend seamlessly with each model’s natural hair colour."
Fendi Couture
"Exactly 54 custom-made wigs were cut into round, 70’s inspired bobs and dyed to match each outfit. The colours were inspired by every shade of Roman Marble, ranging from light to dark."
Cloud Chanel
"We sat cloud-like, voluminous curls high atop the models’ heads for this Chanel Couture show and emphasised the silhouettes for added drama."
Jewelled Feathers
"For the Dries Van Noten AW20 show I created feather partings, inspired by the images of Serge Lutens in the 70’s.The feathers were incorporated into partings for faux jewel-hued roots."
Get A Life
"Inspired by a 17th-century line drawing of a man running down the stairs with his hair on fire, for Dame Vivienne Westwood’s Get A Life SS10 show, I coloured and styled hair pieces into flames."
Food For Fendi
"From the intricate twists, turns and braiding you find in pastry and bread, the hair was piled high with serpentine coils."
Crescent Croissant
"The Chanel Croissant was inspired by a Karl Lagerfeld sketch of a crescent moon. The minimal, elegant sculptural hairstyle reflects the zen-like Japanese garden of the set."
