Still buzzing from redken tribe

Wow what a week I have had! I’m still talking about what a great event Redken’s tribe was on Monday night. I spent the day judging the finalists at the Redken Exchange in Hammersmith- there were three colour finalists, and three cut/style. The standard was amazing and it was extremely difficult to decide on a winner. The three other judges were Chris Moody, who is an old friend of mine so it was great to spend time with him, Sasha Mascolo-Tarbuck and Josh Wood from Real Hair. It was brilliant to spend time with them and I thoroughly enjoyed the company of the other judges. We made a great team and all had different opinions, but ultimately still agreed on the winners. We then shot over to Battersea Park for the evening event, which was FANTASTIC! I don’t want to give too much away as I’ll be writing a full report in HJ, but there were some amazing hair shows and of course we announced the winners. It was great to see so many familiar faces there and the evening was definitely one to remember. The rest of the week has been very busy - we have been writing the Salon International issue this week and it is absolutely packed with so much information, fashion and interesting features. It’s been a very hard week trying to pull it all together, but I think we are almost there. Not long till Salon International. See you there! Emma S
