BEFORE1. A horseshoe section was created from the parietal ridge to the occipital bone.2. Starting at the front hairline, a vertical angle was taken with hair parallel to the floor and point-cut to the desired length.

3.After every four sub-sections, hair was cross-checked to ensure balance.4.Vertical sub-sections were point-cut around the back, tilting the head to build contour in the shape.5. This was continued round the head.

6. Horizontal sections were taken from the parietal ridge and point-cut, keeping the front disconnected.7. Working round the head, half-inch horizontal sub-sections were taken parallel to the original horseshoe section.8. Hair was pulled straight out and connected to the underneath guide.

9. All hair in the top panel was combed forward. Then, working from the crown to the front, shape was connected to the previously cut sections.10. At the top of the head, hair was overdirected back to maintain length at the front. 11. At the front, a half-inch diagonal sub-section was created and point-cut for texture. This was repeated on the opposite side.
