Stars work the textured look with undone 'dos

While smooth bouncy blow-dries appear regularly on the red carpet, textured tresses with a bohemian bed-head feel offer an alternative for celebrities who dare to be different.

While curls and waves are rapidly replacing poker straight locks as the celebrity red carpet look of choice, they remain mostly groomed and glossy.

Adding a beachy-meets-bedhead textured twist may not be for every A-lister, but it adds a sultry finish to any style, as these stars prove:

The texture is achieved by deep slicing through the last few inches of hair, with shorter layering through the crown for height and texture.
