Adding a beachy-meets-bedhead textured twist may not be for every A-lister, but it adds a sultry finish to any style, as these stars prove:

Leighton Meester
"I love Leighton's style at the moment. Her hair colour is a flattering shade of deep caramel and the length is perfect for her. The texture is achieved by deep slicing through the last few inches of hair, with shorter layering through the crown for height and texture. A quick tip to achieve this undone look is to plait the last few inches of hair and clamp with styling irons then leave to cool and undo."
Will Eagles, Cream, Gloucestershire
Kristen Stewart
"I love this bed-head hair. The finish looks great whether you're lounging on holiday or getting dressed up for a big, red carpet event like Kristen. The colour is rich and looks stunning on her, especially with the burnt umber flashes which add the illusion of texture. The whole look gets a big thumbs up from me."
Caroline Sanderson, Ego Hair Design, Inverness

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
"Rosie's sexily dishevelled style has a boho feel to it but the texture and body bring it right up to date. To achieve this look, gently backcomb the top section at the root area for lift, then take two side sections and grip at the crown, ensuring a small amount of hair from the top section covers the grips. Don't worry about this look being too 'done' - it's all about unstructured, carefree summer style."
Ian Marshall, Spargo Hairdressing, Brentwood, Essex
Cameron Diaz
"Cameron is a great muse for anyone with fine, floaty hair. These effortless waves embody casual cool, but also cleverly create the illusion of thicker hair with more body. The consistency of the long layers around the front, sides and back also work well with her strong jawline. The style's overall simplicity is perfect, but also flattering."
