Staff pushed to the limits at the clipso congress
Hair products, scissors and combs were left behind in the salon as staff from the Clipso salon group gathered together to compete for the Congress Trophy at the fifth annual Clipso Congress.
Ninety-five Clipso employees were divided into 12 teams and put through a series of challenging, fun and wet events.
The full day really put the teams' physical and mental skills to the test, with activities including a zip-wire across a lake, dragon boat racing, human demolition and concluding with a grand finale raft race.
After an exciting, energetic day team Brighton came in 3rd place, followed by a team from Watford and at the top of the table were winners Hemel Hempstead.
Watford salon manager, Russell McGrath, who organised the day said: "Our annual congress is always a full on action packed day.
"It's a time for all the Clipso team to get together bond and get some friendly salon on salon rivalry going.
"It's a hugely motivating day and year on year it gets better and is definitely one our salon events the teams all look forward to."
