"This season, the Erdem girl is embracing alien-esque beauty. I wanted to give skin a 'hyper real', silicone-like quality that complements the neon colours of the collection and reflects light when glimpsed through the sheer panels of fabric," said Nichola Joss, St.Tropez global skin finishing expert.

Armed with an acrylic paintbrush, she misted the Instant Glow Wash Off Dark Spray over the body to provide an immediate colour pay-off. Mixing the Tan Optimiser Body Butter with the Violet Skin Illuminator, she then used the brush to add fleeting accents of highlight. With a flick on the shoulder blades and a thin line slicked down the forearms, she set the tone for the future of skin finishing.
Get the look
1 To start, apply a base coat of St.Tropez Instant Glow Dark Spray to even out at skin tone and achieve a perfect glow. Dab any excess product by buffing skin with an applicator mitt.
2 Squeeze a 50p-sized amount of body butter onto the ankles and work up into the skin using an acrylic make-up brush. Start at your ankles and paint onto calves, shins and exposed shoulders, using your natural contours as a guide for a slick, silicone-style skin
3 Finish with a small amount of St.Tropez Violet Illuminator over the wet body- buttered areas for a flash of sci-fi colour.
