Soft unstructured styles ruled the golden globes red carpet

Yesterday I predicted that 50s-inspired waves and soft tumbling waves would be the look on the red carept at the Golden Globes last night. However, it seemed that the stars had opted for something completely different.
While some did choose soft feminine waves, many chose to have an updo. But this year the trend was softness all the way - while dresses were floating, hair was soft, gently pulled back and randonly pinned for an unstructured finish. The result was glamorous and feminine and a look that didn't require them to spend hours in the stylists' chair.
