James Pecis and the BaByliss Pro team created wet-look waves inspired by Pina Bausch for the Simone Rocha Spring/Summer 2015 collection.
The show: Simone Rocha Spring/Summer 2015
The hair team: James Pecis for BaByliss Pro
The look: Very long, wet-looking waves bound round the neck with an almost-invisible strand of hair.
The inspiration: A progression of the Simone Rocha girl;
dancer Pina Bausch with wet hair in Vollmond
The key product: BaByliss Pro 25mm Curling Tong
Get the Look
1. Using the BaByliss Pro 25mm Curling Tong, work around the head from the left side. Work in different-sized sections at random, bending the hair over backwards in alternate sections to create a totally random, erratic curl pattern.
2. Spray each curl with a mix of holding spray and water, bend around your fingers, and clip to the head to set. Ensure all of the curls are totally flat to the head to maintain a tight, small headshape.
3. Dry using the BaByliss Pro Volare.
4. Release all the curls and take a tiny section of hair - four strands or so - from the back of the head on either side. Bring to the front of the hair and plait together in a very small plait, pulling the curls into the neck with an almost invisible thread.
