James Pecis and the BaByliss Pro team created sick-but-innocent super-long lengths for the Simone Rocha Autumn/Winter 2015 show at London Fashion Week.
The show: Simone Rocha Autumn/Winter 2015
The hair team: James Pecis for BaByliss Pro
The look: Centre-parted hair worn in one long asymmetric ponytail with an opposite side wrapped around the base. Finished hair was massively textured and flyaway.
The inspiration: The
artwork of Louise Bourgeois; innocent but slightly sinister. James also reference
Tilda Swinton in Only Lovers Left Alive for the texture in the hair.
The key product: BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium ItaliaBrava Dryer
Get the Look
1. Split hair across in two sections from ear to ear. Braid the entire lower section and pin to the head to remove volume. The look is about long hair, but not thick hair.
2. Add 24" wefts of extensions to each girl to create extreme length; as if the girl had never cut her hair.
3. Prep hair with texture spray and blow-dry in with the BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium ItaliaBrava Dryer.
3. Part hair in the centre and bring hair around to one side, tying in a ponytail. Leave a section out on the opposite side. Use the Babyliss Pro Titanium Ceramic Curling Tong 38mm to blend the artificial hair and real hair together; not creating a wave or curl, just adding a bit of movement.
4. Bring the loose section under the chin and wrap around the base of the ponytail, bringing hair into the face.
5. Loosen out hair all over the style, tweaking between your fingers and with the heel of your palm to create texture and flyaways.
