HD Brows and Bleach were on hand backstage at Shrimps Spring/Summer 2015 to create an all-English, peaches-and-cream look.
The show: Shrimps Spring/Summer 2015
The team: Lauren Parsons for HD Brows and Alex Brownsell for Bleach
Makeup
The look: A pearlescent peaches-and-cream complexion with flushed cheeks and glossy eyes.
The inspiration: A modern take on a young Princess Margaret - the perfect English Rose
The key product: HD Brows Lip Gloss
Get the Look
1. Skin was prepped with Make up by HD Brows Fluid Foundation, with Make Up by HD Brows Illuminator across the high points of the face and cheekbones, bridge of the nose and Cupid’s bow.
2. Powder Blush in Punch was applied to give a youthful flush. This was applied from low down on the cheeks, to give a really natural look. A few freckles were added using the Brow Define in Foxy and Bombshell on to some girls to create a really young, innocent look. Brows were left natural and groomed into place with Brow Beater.
3. Eyes were kept very natural and taupe using Make up by HD Brows Eye Primer over the socket and lower lash line and a pat of Candy from the Vamp Eyeshadow Palette, working from the inner corner of the eye to the lid. No mascara was used, again to keep the look young.
4. Lips were layered with two different shades of Lip Gloss - the coral Punch shade and the pearly Bare. A dab of this was also added to the eyes to add to that luminescent look.
Hair
The look: A fan-shaped bun with a high-shine finish.
The inspiration: Jackie Kennedy with a shell ponytail
The key product: Bleach Swamp Spritz
Get the Look
1. Hair was styled in a centre parting and prepped on the roots with Bleach Swamp Spritz, which was blow-dried in to create a matte finish.
2. The lengths of the hair were then gathered in a low ponytail at the very nape of the neck and sprayed with Bleach Everyday Dry Shampoo.
3. Lengths were then curled using a small barrel tong to shape into structure, rolling under towards the nape of the neck.
4. Hair was then tied off with elastic where it joined the ponytail and pulled out to create a fan shape.
