Share and share alike - the hairdressing philosophy

If there's one thing I love about the hair industry, it's the real camaraderie that hairdressers share.

I guess that comes from people really loving what what they do, but nevertheless it would be really easy for hairdressers - especially those at the top of the tree - to keep their ideas to themselves.

Of course people have loyalty to their salon or group, but what I love is that way that people from across the industry will come together to put on a show or a seminar.

Last week when I was having my hair cut, I came across a perfect example of this: The Five Point Alliance. 

Hairdressers including British Hairdresser of the Year Akin Konizi, Stephen Mackinder, Mark Woolley and Debbie G get together creatively to share their ideas and put together a shoots. 

It's always fun to see how different personalities and different visions work together and this fusion is no different. Here are the results of their last shoot...
