Sesh hairdressing celebrates 15 anniversary in aid for mnd scotland Sesh hairdressing, 15 years ago opened their doors and today they’re celebrating their anniversary in style with a party for clients, friends and family at The Old Dr Bells Baths in Leith, Edinburgh, raising money for the charity MND Scotland. The night began with Simon Hill, the owner of the salon, welcoming guests with a glass of prosecco as they arrived at the venue and then introduced the entertainment for the evening,  Gingzilla’, along with local band ‘The Jammy Devils’ and Scottish DJ, David Elder. The award winning and locally renowned band, The Jammy Devils took to the stage and performed to the bustling crowd of guests. After the band finished their set, the internationally renowed Gingzilla arrived and performed an incredible drag performance. She performed a selection of songs from “New York New York’ to ‘Gangsters Paradise’ and the crowd adored every minute. Simon commented: “To celebrate fifteen years in business is a wonderful feeling. I am so proud of my incredible team and of course eternally grateful to our clients that have allowed us to continue. I am so honoured that we are in a position to host a fantastic party to celebrate with our clients, family and friends, and also generate such a great amount in donations for a charity that means so much to us. Here’s to the next fifteen years!” Before guests continued to dance and enjoy the evening into the early hours of the next morning, Simon assisted Gingzilla in hosting the auction which raised an amazing amount for their selected charity, MND (Motor Neurone Disease) Scotland. The prizes included one years’ worth of Sesh Hairdressing and an overnight stay at the Malmaison Hotel and a four Course Tasting Menu at Borough Leith. The combined total raised was a phenomenal £2230, and as this charity is very close to Simon and Sesh, it was an honour for the business to be able to give back and celebrate simultaneously.
