L’Oréal Professionnel recently gathered top pros from across the country to create stunning transformations with Majirel.
Making Majirel come alive was the focus of the Pro Lead #MajirelMagic Content Co-Lab. On 21 July, the creative energy was electric at Stā Studios, as L’Oréal Professionnel brought together 20 of the UK and Ireland’s top colourists for a hands-on session.
The invite-only event celebrated the artistry behind the new Majirel range, giving professionals the opportunity to create bespoke colour content and give them fresh looks that they can deliver daily in the salon. From gorgeously muted auburns and luminous golds, to bold coppers and radiant blondes, the full Majirel palette was brought to life in a day that was all about creativity, connection and community.
Throughout the day, attendees explored the versatility of the new Majirel shades, while capturing showstopping content designed to inspire both clients and fellow pros alike. Now, these Majirel colour experts are sharing their creations across social media, spreading the magic far beyond the studio walls.
We caught up with the pro community to find out about the magic of coming together to get creative, what it meant for them to be at the event, and of course why they’re loving the new Majirel. These amazing images are proof that Majirel is sparking so much magic already.

“I loved sharing ideas with some of the best in the industry, while also contributing my own vision. I’m obsessed with the vibrancy and shine of the new Majirel, it’s next level! The consistency is beautiful to work with, and I love how it gives me the confidence to create flawless results every time. It’s the perfect mix of innovation and reliability. I created a ribbon effect of beautiful warm copper tones that are set to be huge for the upcoming A/W trends. The placement gives the colour movement and dimension, while the richness of the tones feels modern and luxurious. I like to call it illumi copper.”

“There’s such a buzz when you’re surrounded by people who share your passion for hair. We get to talk trends, experiment with new formulas, and get properly excited about what’s next in colour, like the new Majirel! It’s so much easier to mix, and the application feels smoother and more precise. It’s 100% the future of colour! I created a copper balayage using only Majirel, no pre-lightener. I wanted to show what the new Majirel can do on its own. The root formula was 5.3 + 5.4 with 20 vol, and for the balayage pieces I used 7.44 with 30 vol. It’s a warm, radiant copper that shows off the power of permanent colour.”

“Content days like this really invigorate your spirit and get you inspired by other hairdressers. One thing I’m loving about the new Majirel is the lack of smell, the odour trapping technology makes it a much more luxurious experience for everyone.
With my look I wanted to elevate an all-over colour client. I used four different tones over the head. By creating a slightly lighter hairline, and incorporating two different colours on the ends, you can really elevate a traditional global colour service and give those clients something they can’t do at home.”

“It’s such a lovely feeling getting the opportunity to work alongside other industry pros.
I think my favourite thing about the new Majirel is the consistency. I was blown away with how fluid it was and how easy it was to apply.
I created a multidimensional blonde on a client who is 100% white at the front, but still has her natural hair at the back. My model is similar to clients that visit us in salon. They have areas of white they want covered or blended, and then natural hair with unwanted warmth. It was classic global, but elevated.”

“I love how events like this bring people together, we’re supporting each other on social media and there’s a sense of community.
For the colour, I used Majirel 4.0 on the roots for depth, and then blended 7.44 with clear on the ends to give a soft, coppery glow. The final look was dimensional and warm, perfect for summer but cosy enough for autumn. The shine was unreal! This look is definitely coming back with me to the salon. It’s ideal for brunettes wanting to try something new, or even blondes looking to transition to a warmer tone.”
