As well as the perfect cut, beautiful colour and a flawless finish, creating a winning image requires teamwork. From make-up and clothes to photography and finishing, working with the right team will help ensure your image is memorable for all the right reasons.

Here, we speak to the team responsible for Christel Lundqvist's award-winning colour image.

Hair stylist
"For this image I worked with a technique called progression of colour, using a palette that suited the model's natural complexion and complemented the cut. To create that 'wow' factor with any image it's essential that all the elements of the shoot come together, from photography and make-up through to styling and hair. They all help bring your concept to life."
HJ Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year Christel Lundqvist, HOB Salons

Make-up Artist
"I wanted the make-up to create a contrast with the strong hair colour, so I worked mainly with shades of black and charcoal. The make-up helps create an overall image that is modern and dynamic."
James O'Riley

Journalist
"This sci-fi-inspired graphic cut maintains touches of femininity thanks to the soft blush colour and hint of blonde subtly flashing through. The darker auburn ends also give a nod to this season's must-have dip-dye trend - the technique used is exquisite."
Charley Williams, Editor, Dare

Photographer
"This is one of my favourite images from Christel's colour collection. The combination of the model's stance, strong wardrobe, smouldering make-up and Christel's colour work make this image stand out. To capture the perfect image all the components must work together, then you are guaranteed a high-impact, eye-catching result."
