Seanhanna salons celebrate in style
The seanhanna salon group recently celebrated a year of evolution and success with its annual awards, held at the Clapham Grand in South London.
More than 250 staff and guests joined the excitement, witnessing a mix of hair shows, video presentations and, of course, the awards ceremony.
Founder, Sean Hanna took the packed auditorium through a retrospective of the group, with pictures from the past three decades - including some of the original seanhanna salon in
Worcester Park. The presentation brought guests and staff right up to date with images of the new flagship salon in Putney.
The audience was also treated to two hair shows, once showing funky, young looks and men and women, the other offering a glimpse in the world of bridal hair.
Also taking to the stage was Skyler McDonald who recreated some of the looks from the collection which won her the Avent-Garde category at HJ's 2009 British Hairdressing Awards.
The wards themselves saw individuals and teams from across the seanhanna empire rewarded for their efforts during 2009. Among the winners were the team from Cambridge for Salon of the Year; Manager of the Year, Jacqui Pankhurst, also from Cambridge; and Colour Technician of the Year, Jemma Pomeroy from Wimbledon.
