Seanhanna and skyler london awards 2021 winners announced

The SeanHanna and Skyler London Awards 2021 winners were announced on Tuesday 3 March with a fun virtual awards ceremony themed around the movie franchise – The Matrix. Sean Hanna Salons and Skyler London founder Sean Hanna took The Matrix's leading role – Neo with the virtual awards ceremony kicking-off with a reenactment of the iconic Matrix 'blue pill versus red pill' scene. Click here for highlights from the virtual awards ceremony night itself.  Sean presented the virtual Sean Hanna and Skyler London Awards 2021 with co-hosts Skyler McDonald, Lloyd Court and Tomm Bucknell and each winner was announced by leading members of the UK hairdressing industry, including HJ's editor Laura Husband. Sean said:

It has been a tough year for the team. And they really put the effort in to taking care of our guests whenever we’ve been able to open. So perhaps even more than ever, we felt it important to recognise the excellent work that they do. We wanted to make it a motivational and optimistic event. The team were also invited to enter our creative awards using dolly blocks and I have to say all the judges were super impressed with their work.

Before the winners of the SeanHanna and Skyler London Awards 2021 were announced Sean shared a short video looking back on the past 12 months and how the entire company's team had successfully adapted to stay relevant throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Hairdressers Journal International's editor Laura Husband said she was thrilled to be invited to announce a category winner and judge the creative categories within the awards and she was extremely impressed with the calibre of all of the entries and the creativity and dedication shown by all of those who entered.
