Sean steals the show at stephenson college

Fellowship President Sean Dawson was a big hit at the hugely successful Hairdressing ('California Dreamin') Show at Stephenson College in Leicestershire. The show, organised by the college hairdressing department in partnership with KMS California /Goldwell, included demonstrations from celebrity stylist Sean Dawson, Vogue International from Leamington Spa and the DuPont Dance Group who showcased the work of the college's Level 3 Hairdressing students. Prior to the show, students considered to be potential UK Skills competitors, were given a masterclass by Sean, giving them an opportunity to see at a high-profile stylist at work. Special guest Barrie Stephen of Barrie Stephen Leicester said: "I’m always learning, and an evening of motivation, education and inspiration was put together by Stephenson College and Goldwell. "It was an evening not to have been missed. President of the Fellowship, Sean Dawson shared his tips and tricks when putting together a photo shoot. His vision and fashion forecast for 2008 left us feeling excited and wanting to race back to the salons." Stephenson College Hairdressing Department is at the forefront of training delivery within the industry, using innovative teaching methods tailored to individual salon and trainee needs. Sean Dawson added: "Having been given the opportunity to present at Stephenson College I was delighted at the state-of-the-art facilities and professionalism of all involved. "I hope the assistance and advice I gave during the Master Class and show inspired the UK Skills competitors and all who attended to reach their true potential."
