Seanhanna-awards-pic.jpgTo celebrate a year of winning numerous  hair awards and opening its latest salon in Cambridge, the seanhanna team presented awards and a creative show for family, friends and colleagues at the Epsom Playhouse.

Almost 200 staff came together to recognise their hard work and committment at a night which combined recognising achievements by members of the team with the artistic teams presenting fast action shows.

As the company looked back at the past year, Sean Hanna looked forward and despite being in the middle of a recession, insisted that everyone should be excited about the future. "Now is the time to stand above the rest and it will determine the good from the great," he said.

The night opened with an exciting presentation by the young artistic team, with a playful, flambouyant and creative show.

After Sean rewarded those that had been with the company for up to 20 years, he was joined on stage by Skyler McDonald and Yesmin O'Brien, presenting beautiful but ethereal avant-garde looks.

A panel of judges chose the winner for the Creative Awards, as youngsters presented their model live on stage and described their inspiration.

Their brief was to create a look for Vogue magazine, and was judged by Victor Pajak from Headquarters, Paul Falltrick from Falltricks, Susan Hall from Reds and HJ's deputy editor Ruth Hunsley.

Then it was what the audience had been waiting for; the awards. Sean awarded trainees and stylists who had achieved their goals and dedicated their time to the company over the past year.
