Nick Irwin has been recently appointed as Schwarzkopf Professional’s latest global styling ambassador, joining an expansive panel of leading hairdressing experts around the world.
Nick is often celebrated for his “cutting-edge aesthetic and visionary approach” boasting a 20+ year career within the industry. On the appointment, Schwarzkopf commented that Nick “possesses a unique ability to be one of the few stylists who can work successfully between the session world and the professional hair industry.”
Nick’s expansive career has ranged from creating directorial images for the hair industry to being an educator for hairdressers, as well as being one of the leading editorial and session stylists for both catwalks and high-fashion campaigns.
Nick has worked alongside some of the most renowned photographers in the industry, including Rankin and the team at HUNGER magazine, who has been instrumental to his creative thought process and led to his appointment as hair editor at HUNGER.
When asked about the new role, Nick commented: “I’m absolutely thrilled with this new partnership and collaboration with Schwarzkopf Professional. As a session stylist, my work and aesthetic would not be what it is without the correct products and OSiS+ styling products have a permanent place in my kitbag, so to finally have a role as global styling ambassador is phenomenal."
Nick concluded: "We have some incredible ideas planned for the future and I can’t wait to share this new chapter in my career.”
