Schwarzkopf Professional launched its latest Essential Looks collection, Colour Buzz, in an inspiring show at Berlin's Velodrom.
A team of creatives representing the brand's international presence showcased four key looks for Spring/Summer 2013, taking their cue from global catwalk trends and translating them into marketable salon styles.
The event also introduced the 3,000-strong audience the wealth of creative opportunities available with Schwarzkopf Professional's new high-definition Igora Royal colours.
Introduced by Schwarzkopf Professional global ambassadors Lesley Lawson and Tyler Johnston, the four key looks for the new season are;

Mono Mods
Inspired by the 60s shapes and monochrome looks on the Spring/Summer 2013 catwalks, this graphic trend relies on two-tone blondes and striking rounded silhouettes.

Glam Chic
Think Helmut Newton and YSL; it's all about languid sophistication and strong femininity for this look. Glamorous, sexy and luxurious, layered colour is key with deep brunettes in a glossy finish dominating.

Electric Youth
Dubbed 'hair that your parents wouldn't like', this non-conformist trend embraces unexpected shades that pack a punch. Breaking the rules to create unexpected results, vitality and brightness bring this look this to life.

White Angles
Taking its cue from Eastern influences, this colourful trend celebrates the vibrancy of the new Igora Royal shades. Origami lines, graphic shapes and strong colour all come together to contrast against seasonal white outfits for a seriously striking result.
"We hope we've fuelled your imagination for the year to come," said Schwarzkopf Professional international creative director Simon Ellis. "Inspiring you with enough ideas, techniques and insight to weave these fresh looks into the everyday fabric of your salons."
