The 2011 Scwarzkopf Professional Young Artistic Team and their models

Schwarzkopf Professional recently held two creative competitions to find the most talented teams from 25 of their salons.

Teams from across the UK competed against each other in the regional finals, one in London and the other in Manchester.

Each team had just five minutes to present to a panel of industry experts, showcasing their knowledge of trends, techniques and finishes on four models, including one designated colour model and one male model.

Every detail of the presentation was judged, from technical skills and presentation ability to choreography and styling. With each team comprised of four stylists and juniors and an audience of friends, family and press watching, tensions ran high throughout the evening.

Following some tough deliberation from the judging panel, winners in three categories, plus a runner-up, were announced in a nail-biting finale.

As well as giving team members the chance to express their creativity and gain valuable presenting experience, the winners will also get to take part in a photographic shoot, recreating their chosen fashion trend as an image.

The evening also saw the 2011 Schwarzkopf Professional Young Artistic Team put their presentation skills to the test with their interpretations of this season's Essentials Looks in a lively creative show.

And the winners were...
