Salon promotions celebrates five years of leading educational courses

Professional haircare distributor Salon Promotions, is celebrating five years of its sold-out educational courses and a 34% increase in course variety.
Founded in 2009 by Neil Capstick, Lancashire-based Salon Promotions provides high-quality brands to UK hair salons including Alterna, Olaplex and Hot Tools, as well as long-term, hands-on training solutions and educational events for stylists.
Salon Promotion’s salon-centric approach to haircare has made it a household name in the professional haircare industry. Since the launch of courses in late 2017, demand has been exceptional, leading all courses to be sold out in 2022 with 400 delegates.
The next year looks similar, with 2023 categories confirmed later this year and a waiting list already full. To mark the five-year anniversary, Salon Promotions is set to bolster its training programme with new and trend-led courses, more locations, and more available dates.
The courses, which include hairdressing, barbering, tailored colouring and cutting courses, as well as foundation and refresher workshops, plus specific bridal, hair-ups, and balayage training, are hosted at a state-of-the-art, interchangeable space in Salon Promotion’s Lancashire base. Courses are led by a variety of educators including a fully qualified team of experienced stylists, salon owners, lecturers, and educators.
Attendees are able to gain insight from some of the leading educators in professional haircare, further developing their skillset within the industry and giving them access to world-leading products and expertise.
Neil Capstick, managing director at Salon Promotions said: “We’re proud to be marking our fifth year of courses by extending our variety of topics and trend education even further. 2022 has been continuously sold out – showing the huge demand for accessible training opportunities for UK hair stylists. We can’t wait to see the innovation and genuine excitement the next five years will bring.”
