Salon international 2014: live shows announced!

The headliners for live shows at Salon International 2014 have been announced with TONI&GUY, Patrick Cameron, TIGI Inspirational Youth and Sassoon Academy all confirmed to present. Patrick Cameron is the ultimate platform artist, combining showmanship with unrivalled hair-up skills. With his trademark exuberant, friendly style, Patrick will recreate looks from his latest collection live on stage. "I feel it is very important," says Patrick, "to show simple techniques to achieve hairstyles with a minimum number of steps. Romantic looks are an essential part of commercial salon work, and designing a collection based on this concept made easy will be both exciting and beneficial to a wide audience." The Sassoon Academy creative team, led by international creative director Mark Hayes, will present the exciting techniques in cutting and colouring from its newest autumn/winter Academy collection. “Our seminar will not only inspire and motivate, but will demonstrate cut and colour working in harmony to create a ­stylishly ambient hair landscape,” promises Mark. Celebrating 10 years as the official ­sponsor of London Fashion Week, the multi-award winning Toni & Guy artistic team will present its stunning editorial work straight from the catwalk, as well as beautifully innovative avant-garde hair, ensuring the Toni & Guy Salon Live show is entertaining and educational. Highly respected within the professional hairdressing arena, this year, TIGI Inspirational Youth goes global with parallel teams from the US and Germany participating in the mentor programme. Senior TIGI international creative team directors lead the intensive “boot-camp” training programme before the finale at Salon Live. Younger team members in particular will be inspired by the level of creativity and talent that exists among their peers.
