Saks UK held the Saks Annual Conference 2019 with salon owners at L'Oreal Professionnel's headquarters in Hammersmith to discuss the brand's future plans, brainstorm ideas and to listen to feedback from team members.
During the inspiring two-day London event, the Saks HQ team shared their upcoming hair and beauty announcements for the brand which will take place in 2020.
The Saks HQ team, which includes Janet King for marketing, Luke Pluckrose for hair, Katie Gledhill of Saks Beauty Halifax for heauty, and Jezz Ellis for operations, all demonstrated how Saks UK will be helping and supporting salons with its latest ideas and innovations.
As part of the Saks Annual Conference 2019 L'Oreal Profesionnel organised for the Saks UK team to take part in the ultimate team building challenge at The Crystal Maze, which is based on the popular 1990s TV show.
The two winning teams were led by salon owners Michelle Shergill of
Saks West Bridgford and Katie Gledhill of
Saks Beauty Halifax.
L’Oréal Professionnel's Colin Slight said: “What a fantastic couple of days. It’s not every day you have such a wealth of experience in one room reflecting, sharing and collaborating. We’re now equipped with the tools and mind-set to go into 2020 on the front foot. Lastly, it would not be a Saks Conference without an enormous amount of fun along the way!”
Saks managing director Stephen Kee said: “The Saks Conference was a brilliant opportunity to get together and share our exciting plans for the year ahead. There is so much that we do for our salon owners so it’s important for us to let them know about all the support that’s available. We don’t just tell salons how to do things – we do it for them. This leaves them to get on with doing what they love, looking after their customers, salon and team.”
